18-week course plan studying an introduction to St. Thomas Aquinas' Summa Theologica in A Shorter Summa by Peter Kreeft and The One-Minute Aquinas by Kevin Vost.  Alongside the introduction to this great saint, we will explore Church history from the collapse of the Carolingian empire to the Treaty of Westphalia (ninth to seventeenth centuries) using The Didache Series' The History of the Church (Chs. 8-14 this semester).
       The feast day of St. Thomas Aquinas, priest and doctor of the Church, patron of all universities and of students, is January 28th.
