Read what member families have said about their St. Thomas Aquinas Academy homeschooling experience.

Since I am writing, I will also sing more praises of the Greek Studies plan. [My daughter] moaned over the timed-essay and then did very well. So easy to implement with the choose one reflection topic from each subject and then get ready, get set, go! Apparently the school also gave suggestions for the process essay in "Format Writing." Thank you! For a mom of many this is real time saver.

When my husband and I were finally lead by the Holy Spirit to start homeschooling our children last year, I knew we needed actual curriculum instead of just leaving it up to the Holy Spirit! That is where STAA came in. After researching all the major Catholic curriculum available, we settled on STAA for several reasons. I liked their classical

I am a very satisfied homeschooling parent with STAA. I have a daughter entering first grade. She completed the "pre-first" program with St. Thomas. First, the best thing, in my opinion about working with STAA is the wonderful staff. STAA advisors put together a detailed packet of information specific to your child's age and grade. The books

This fall our family will begin our 8th year home schooling with St. Thomas Aquinas Academy. This year's students will be in 3rd and 11th grades. Our experience with STAA has been wonderful. Some years we have followed the suggested course of study closely and others we have generated our own courses too. We have been very

STAA has truly been a Godsend to our family. Our advisor is always ready to help. She not only recommends the books for my boys, she helps me teach my perfectionist, prickly 3rd grader and my stubborn, but oh, so clever 1st grader with gentle and loving words of wisdom. She also offers advice on how to get it done with three more little ones running around under my feet! On days when I have really struggled with doubt and indecision she has lifted me up like a gentle hug from the Father. In his infinite mercy he has provided us with a constant source of encouragement and know-how to achieve the (often impossible) task he has set before us. Do not underestimate the importance of a Catholic program...Our goal is more souls for heaven and the restoration of the family as the basic unit of civilization...no secular home-school provider will be able to keep you centered on this goal...STAA DOES! Plus the curriculum choices are challenging, classical and flexible when they need to be (like a new addition to the family and mom is not 100% for a few months!) I can't say enough about STAA . May God continue to bless this family in their apostolate.

I have three children, a son: age 8 (entering 3rd grade), a daughter: age 6 (entering 1st grade), and a pre-pre-school son: age 3. Last year we were recommended to teach "The Morning Offering" prayer as part of their Religion requirement. Myself a convert, and even my husband, a "cradle Catholic," were unaware of this prayer,

God bless you for the job you are doing -- the peace you have helped us find as a family is priceless!

My advisor helps me to understand what needs to be done and how to make it really fun for the kids. What I really like are the tips she gives me for dealing with the little ones while trying to school the older ones.

The assessment testing was quick and easy to do, so I didn't expect much valuable feedback. Boy was I wrong!!! It was like my advisor had met my kids and spent hours/days with them.
